All Travelers and Attendees
We encourage you to visit your government's travel recommendation page or embassy/consulate for the most up to date information on travel to and from Mexico. Any documents, including visas, that may be required for your attendance to the Invitational are the sole responsibility of the attendee and their fellow travelers. If your passport will expire less than 6 months after your travel to the Invitational, you are encouraged to renew your passport prior to attending the event.

IRF Transportation Services
The IRF is pleased to be partnering with Amstar DMC for all transfer services for registered Invitational attendees upon arrival and departure between Cancun International Airport (CUN) and The Grand at Moon Palace Cancun. Transportation service information must be entered into your registration profile. Amstar DMC staff will be wearing blue shirts and will be scheduled to greet you at the airport once you have exited the customs area. Please refrain from stopping to talk to any timeshare or expedition providers located within the airport facilities. Amstar DMC staff will have a sign or placard indicating they are with the IRF. Transfer services to all destination activities and receptions held offsite during the Invitational program will be organized by the IRF.

The official language of Mexico is Spanish. English is heavily spoken in tourist destinations such as Cancun. While communication with hotel, transfer partners, and activities staff should not be a problem, we encourage you to review some useful Spanish phrases as well.

Currency and Tipping
The official currency of Mexico is the Mexican peso. Currency exchange facilities are located in many places in Cancun. Many establishments accept the American dollar, but you are encouraged to pay in pesos to reduce the chance of overpaying for items due to the currency exchange rate. You are discouraged from carrying large amounts of cash. Not all credit cards will be accepted at all establishments. Taxis are commonly used for transportation in Mexico and tipping, while appreciated is not expected for taxi service.
